The up-and-coming duo Yerai Cortés (guitar) and Ismael de la Rosa (vocals) performed at the IX Flamenco Biennial in a passionate performance at De Balie Amsterdam. We are bringing them back for an intimate concert at De Nieuwe Regentes in The Hague.
The deep vocals of Ismael de la Rosa ‘el Bola’, the cante jondo, is music in its purest form. It arises in the heat of the moment. In a beautiful symbiosis with guitarist Yerai Cortés he brings fresh interpretations of the classical flamenco repertoire. Gen Z and timeless.
Coming from Seville, the young duo is making their way through the flamenco scene with their album Flamenco Directo. These rising stars are a continuous presence, having worked with some of the biggest international stars such as Farruquito, Rocío Molina, Alfonso Losa and C. Tangana. In this acoustic concert you will hear why Ismael de la Rosa and Yerai Cortés are the stars of the future.
